Programme Neurociència

The brain is the organ of the mind. To understand how it works is to know ourselves, and the discoveries that neuroscience brings us every day have important effects on how we see individual and social behaviour. This is the starting-point for interdisciplinary programme that focuses on the social implications of neuroscience, based on conversations with scientists and experts in different fields. Organised by the Spanish Society of Neuroscience, Barcelona Institute of Culture and ”la Caixa” Foundation and aimed at the general public, these talks will feature leading specialists from around the world.

This series of lectures is organised around a thematic thread that gives them a unique educational dimension. The talks are designed to be accessible to both students and the general public. Their educational value has been recognised by the Network of European Neuroscience Schools (NENS), the Spanish Society of Neuroscience (SENC) and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS). Places are limited and advance registration is required. You will find information and registration form HERE.

Important:
Those interested may apply to SENC for a training certificate, both for personal use and in order to apply for free choice credits from the UAB and the UPF.
