Located in the courtyard of the Palau de la Virreina, the gallery takes its name from the Catalan photographer Xavier Miserachs (1937-1998) and is dedicated exclusively to photographic exhibitions.

The exhibitions that take place here embrace from photo-journalism of historic interest with examples from Catalonia’s most prestigious photographers, to the work of new artists, the most excitingly contemporary artists, and of course the traditional date with the Festa Major photographic competition, the PhotoMercè.
