There's always

a Picasso to discover

Ad you, which Picasso do you know?
The campaign of the Museu Picasso which searches for the citizens' complicity

The Museu Picasso's staff have been working from home for more than two months, like most non-essential service workers. From confinement and with limited resources is how the campaign has been prepared, which has been launched on social media where its staff narrates, in videos recorded by themselves, how and when they discovered the work of the genius from Malaga.

From the Museu Picasso we think it is time to show our more human side beyond the professional and make a call to the citizens so that they feel the Museu Picasso as their home more than ever. The desire of the Museu Picasso is to spread this question, And you, which Picasso do you know? and in the coming months we will look for personal testimonies from the citizenship.

The campaign is in harmony with the celebration being prepared by the Museum of the 50th anniversary of the 1970 donation.

In the campaign, the citizens will discover how Anna Guarro, head of Educational Services and Activities, read about Picasso's death in the magazines of her mother's hairdresser, the trip to Lyon made by Reyes Jiménez, head of Restoration and Preventive Conservation, in the summer of 1973 where at a stop in Avignon she was able to see Picasso's retrospective exhibition at the Palais des Papes and even learn about the small role played by Ricard Poimboeuf, head of security, in the series The young Picasso. A series of videos reveals these first contacts of the Museum team with the work of Picasso.
