Educational program Sustainable Food Project:
Training for teachers and a project to be carried out in the classroom for Primary and Secondary School students

Do you want to work with your students on sustainable food through art?

At the Museu Picasso we propose a project to reflect on what healthy eating is and about food waste.

Based on the works of Picasso and many other classical and contemporary artists, we will reflect on how our diet is and how we can improve it to make it healthier.

We propose different participatory activities to understand and know, based on our customs and diversity in the classrooms, what we can do to help prevent food waste.

The discussion in front of the works and the creative process are the essential aspects through which we propose encouraging the cross-cutting learning of the students, by boosting the respect for difference, strengthening the skills of oral and written expression, as well as the knowledge of the environment and the critical thinking.

The activities we offer are modular and can be adapted to the needs of the project you want to carry out, by creating your itinerary that allows you to explore the potential of art as a cross-cutting tool.

To facilitate this task, we also offer two types of training, of 15 and 25 hours. Everyone, students and teachers, will learn while having fun.

  • Duration: 1 Saturday morning (4 hours) Sessions of 2 hours, on ten working days: the amount depending on the itinerary chosen
