IRIS (the acronim in catalan for Incidences, Complaints and Suggestions) is a multi-channel program for managing service requests, incidents reports and complaints of the citizens. It is a part of the Civic Behaviour Programme - one of the central political initiatives in the current mandate – aimed to increase the consciousness and co-responsibility of the residents for the quality of life in the city, the respect for the rules of living together, and to improve the performance of the council’s services.

Honorable mention for the Barcelona IRIS project at the eEurope Awards 2005

IRIS, the claims and complaints project of the Barcelona City Council, has received an honorable mention at the eEurope Awards 2005 of Electronic Administration.
This recognition was announced on November 24th during the Ministerial eGovernment Conference organized by the European Commision in Manchester.
