What to do when faced with a robbery
- Call the police immediately, giving them the exact address of the establishment and a contact number.
- Ask for medical assistance, if necessary calling 061 or 112.
- Do not touch anything that may serve to obtain fingerprints or other clues about the perpetrators.
- Do not let anyone enter the site of the robbery (room, shop).
- Keep the telephone line free until the police arrive.
- Try to stay calm and be cautious in dangerous or threatening situations. Do not attempt heroics. Remember that the most important thing is people’s safety.
- Observe the physical appearance of the thieves and other details so that you can help the police to identify them later: clothes, escape route, vehicle registration number, etc.
