IES Baix Empordà in Palafrugell, IES Marianao in Sant Boi de Llobregat, CEIP Montessori in Rubí and Escola Joan Pelegrí in Barcelona will represent Catalan schools.

Baix Empordà (Palafrugell) and Marianao (Sant Boi de Llobregat) secondary schools and Montessori (Rubí) and Joan Pelegrí (Barcelona) schools will travel to Copenhagen at the end of November and beginning of December to hand over to the Danish Government a series of undertakings and proposals by Catalan schoolchildren for fighting climate change. The trip will be made by one teacher and two students from each of the four schools, chosen from amongst 25 that submitted proposals in an initiative by the Department of the Environment and Housing, in association with the Danish Embassy, as part of the meeting of world leaders taking place in Barcelona this week.
