The project by Barcelona-based Greek pop composer Evripidis Sabatis and his Tragèdies, the luxuriant band that has also included members of Extraperlo, Veracruz and Le Pianc. A few years ago, he surprised us all with a namesake début of pure pop idealism, fusing Phil Spector numbers, Beach Boy melodies and the intellectual inventiveness of The Magnetic Fields. A few months after the publication of Evripidis' first book (El calamor y otros mitos de la intimidad), they will finally be presenting their new album, A Healthy Dose of Pain.
